mason jar plants
So simple and so easy to make! Plants are such a great addition to any room in the house and such a cool hobby to have in your repertoire. I've been obsessed with mason jar plants lately because it gives you the plant look without the bulky feeling. It's so simple and easy to make and requires very minimal upkeep when finished. Part of the convenience of having Mason jar plants is that you can place them virtually anywhere in your room and move them with ease. These jarred plants are on top of my bookshelf and ties my entire room together. Unfortunately, they don't get tons of sunlight where they are so I move them every few days to my kitchen for some needed sun, and right back to my room. It may sound annoying but I promise you guys, watching them grow has been worth it!
I water them once a week and so far it seems like I have inherited a green thumb.
I encourage anyone who wants to add a little life to their room (literally, ha ha ha) or anyone that wants to brighten up their room to add these mason jar plants. You won't be disappointed. Below is a list of things (links included) I've used to make my own but feel free to add your own spin to them.
any type of mason jar
rocks and/or dirt
small plants
FYI: I purchased my pebbles from a Petco in the fish aisle because they are smaller and absorb water better. I've also randomly picked larger rocks from my backyard for the mason jar plants with water only.
